Before launching NLC Collective, Sandy spent more than a decade in the market research industry, leading consumer research for Fortune 500 companies across the technology, consumer packaged goods, and beauty industries. Her work centered on understanding what people value, how they connect with brands, and what transforms an ordinary product into a memorable experience.

Sandy later transitioned into the real estate industry, where gifting became one of her favorite ways to build lasting relationships with clients. Rather than purchasing generic closing gifts, she would spend time sourcing unique, high-quality items from local boutiques and thoughtfully arranging them into personalized gift boxes. Seeing the joy these gifts brought inspired the idea for NLC Collective.

Packaging has also been part of Sandy's story from an early age. Growing up, her father owned a perfume manufacturing company, where conversations about presentation, design, and packaging were part of everyday life. Those early experiences shaped her appreciation for the details that elevate a product from beautiful to truly unforgettable.

Today, Sandy lives in Los Angeles with her husband and their three children—Naomi, Liam, and Camilla—the inspiration behind the name NLC Collective. Named in their honor, the brand reflects the importance meaningful connections and celebrating life's special moments.
